The National Museum of Indian Cinema (NMIC), inaugurated in 2019, celebrates the development of Indian cinema from its early beginnings to modern filmmaking. Located at the Films Division Complex on Dr Gopalrao Deshmukh Marg, Cumballa Hill, Mumbai, the museum occupies two buildings: the historic Gulshan Mahal heritage bungalow and a modern museum building. Its collections include vintage cameras, film equipment, costumes, posters, memorabilia, film history exhibits and interactive multimedia displays.
