The Victorian Gothic and Art Deco Ensembles of Mumbai are a UNESCO World Heritage Site inscribed in 2018. The architectural ensemble includes Victorian Neo-Gothic public buildings along the eastern side of Oval Maidan and Art Deco residential, commercial and entertainment buildings on the western side and toward Marine Drive. The buildings blend European architectural influences with Indian design elements, including balconies, verandas and local decorative motifs. The ensemble reflects Mumbai's urban growth and architectural development during the 19th and 20th centuries.
