Sewri Fort is a historic fort in Sewri, Mumbai, built by the British East India Company around 1680 to help defend Bombay Harbour. The fort features weathered stone walls, an arched entrance, historic defensive architecture and views toward Mumbai Harbour and the nearby Sewri mudflats. The nearby mudflats are known for migratory flamingos during the winter season. The fort is in a deteriorated condition, so visitors should take care on uneven surfaces.
